PUBLISHER GUEST OF HONOR: ROSE O’KEEFE is an editor, publisher, community organizer, and event director. She is the owner of Eraserhead Press, the leading publishing house of bizarro fiction and a recipient of the Horror Writers Association (HWA) Specialty Press Award (2017).

Under O’Keefe’s direction, Eraserhead Press, founded in 1999, has published over four hundred titles through four publishing imprints and developed an international cult following for its cutting-edge weird fiction which has been praised by The Guardian, The Washington Post, Boing Boing, NPR, and Cracked.com, among others.

She frequently hosts writers’ gatherings, writing retreats on the Oregon Coast, writing workshops, reading events, and the annual convention/art event, BizarroCon. In addition to publishing, she loves homebrewing, ecstatic dance,  Argentine tango, cult films, punk DIY culture and creative weirdos of all types.

FILM GUEST OF HONOR: BRYCE MCGUIRE is a writer/director whose feature debut NIGHT SWIM was produced by Blumhouse/Atomic Monster and released by Universal Studios. His writing work includes a television series for Bron Studios, TABLOID DREAMS, THE WHITE ROOM, which sold to Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, and the co-written BAGHEAD, which was released by Studio Canal. Bryce’s latest short film EVERY HOUSE IS HAUNTED, which premiered at SxSW, is being adapted into a feature film with Mark Johnson (The Holdovers) producing. Bryce is also slated to direct the horror fairytale BAD BLOOM starring Vera Farmiga.

Beyond writing and directing movies, Bryce is completing a collection of horror stories told from the perspective of animals. He enjoys fishing, surfing, and scaring himself in the water in any way he can. 

AUTHOR GUEST OF HONOR: SHANE MCKENZIE is the author of over twenty extreme horror and bizarro books. He has written comics for Zenescope Entertainment, and has an upcoming comic of his creation coming out in 2025. For the past eight years, he has been exclusively screenwriting, and wrote projects for Warner Bros, Amazon Studios, Blumhouse Productions, and more. He has recently returned to the world of books, with multiple new projects coming out in 2024 and many more planned for years to come! He lives in Austin, TX with his wife, children, and two killer dogs.

ARTIST GUEST OF HONOR: Raised on an island in the Pacific Ocean, JIM AGPALZA now lives outside Portland, Oregon, where he works as a freelance illustrator, cover artist, character designer, and storyboard artist. His work has appeared in a multitude of formats, including cartoons, books, slot machines, comics, and t-shirts. Jim is the co-creator of the animated show Spacefish and also numerous books, including the Wonderland Book Award-winning The Last 5 Minutes of the Human Race (with Michael Allen Rose). He likes to take long walks on the beach with a broom so he can sweep away any unwanted footsteps that may be following him.
