The Wonderland Book Awards are a recognition presented annually at BizarroCon for superior achievement in bizarro fiction writing. The 2026 awards, for books published in 2025, will be presented at BizarroCon on Saturday, May 16th, in Portland, Oregon.

To make the awards as inclusive and representative of the bizarro community as possible, we’re asking for your help. If you’re aware of any bizarro fiction books published in 2025, please tell us the title, author (and preferably what category they qualify for). You don’t need to have read the books yourself. If you’ve published them, written them, seen them mentioned online, or heard others talking about them, we want to know about them. 

ELIGIBILITY:

• Bizarro fiction first published between January 1 – December 31, 2025.
• In print or available as an ebook as of March 2026 (no limited editions, reprints, or out-of-print titles).

CATEGORIES

• Best Novel: Novella or novel-length prose fiction
• Best Collection: Single-author books of short stories, flash fiction, novellas, poems, essays, or screenplays
